We've built our new kids' sandals with our patented Microwobbleboard technology. Every pair has a flexible triple-density midsole, which helps promote better posture and encourages the bones in young feet to move naturally, so developing feet have space, can stretch and are properly stimulated.
The Oasis (for Girls) has a super- soft suede upper and non-stretch microfiber lining for immediate comfort and cushion.
Children's feet are soft and pliable. They need freedom, flexibility underfoot, and space to move (not only in front and behind as they grow, but underneath, midfoot, and on the sides and tops of their toes).
And while stiff footwear can appear more supportive, having too much structure in a child's shoes can interfere with the natural mechanics of the feet and delay development of the smaller muscle groups that need to gain strength as a child grows. In fact most experts agree that going barefoot is best.
